Ferrari treffen nürburgring


The mix of historic and modern Ferrari models on the racetrack offered an unforgettable experience for enthusiasts from all over Germany and beyond.

An armada in red

The Nürburgring was transformed into a veritable sea of red cars. There is also a new entrant in the Coppa Shell, with Polish driver Andrzej Lewandowski (Autohaus Ulrich).

Zois Skrimpias (Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM) holds a 45-point advantage over his closest rival after securing his fifth and sixth victories of an extraordinary debut season at Le Castellet.

Regular runs and demonstration drives showcased the unique characteristics of the cars without emphasizing their competitive nature.

A weekend full of adrenaline

The Ferrari Racing Days 2024 was an event that made the hearts of Ferrari fans beat faster. Behind him, Marco Zanasi (CDP – Pinetti Motorsport) and Hendrik Viol (Scuderia Praha Racing), respectively 25 and 26 points behind the leader, will attempt to make up ground on the Danish driver.

As part of the Ferrari Racing Days, the Ferrari Challenge and Corse Clienti will combine with the XX Program and F1 Clienti to create a unique motorsport spectacle for the first time in four years. Its premiere marked the beginning of a new era in the history of the Challenge racing series.

Exclusive formats for collectors

For those looking for something special, the event offered exclusive formats such as the XX Program and F1 Clienti.

with Coppa Shell Am. The Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Pirelli Am races will follow at 12.30 p.m., and Coppa Shell and Trofeo Pirelli 488 will round off the day at 3.20 p.m. A new addition is the Ferrari Sport Prototipi Clienti program for proud owners of the brand new Ferrari 499P Modificata.

The Nürburgring is once again offering attractive VIP packages for the Ferrari Racing Days.

An identical schedule will be followed on Sunday 8 September, when Race-2 for the various classes will be contested.

The qualifying sessions and races will be livestreamed free of charge, with commentary in English, at live.ferrari.com and on the official Ferrari YouTube channel.

Ferrari back at the Nürburgring

After a five-year break, the Ferrari Racing Days 2024 made a triumphant return to the legendary Nürburgring.

The real highlights, however, are the sessions of the spectacular XX program, in which absolute rarities from Ferrari lap the 5.1 kilometers of the Grand Prix circuit. Here, rare Ferrari models and Formula 1 cars from the last few decades took to the track. The concept is popular and the event is growing: last year, the organizers reported a new record number of participants - more than 100 racing cars took part in the chase through the Green Hell.

Among the drivers no longer in contention for the standings are American Dylan Medler (Pellin Racing) and youngster Luigi Coluccio (Radicci Automobili – Best Lap – FCI), who, having performed well in previous rounds, will aim for their first victory.

Five consecutive wins have propelled Claus Zibrandtsen (Formula Racing) to the top of the Trofeo Pirelli Am standings, with a comfortable margin over his closest rivals.

There are likely to be just as many this year when the starting lights turn green on Saturday afternoon (September 21). And those who prefer to get behind the wheel themselves can experience the Nordschleife from morning to night on three of the four weekends during the tourist drives. From the latest Ferrari 296 Challenge to classic Ferrari models - the Cavallino Rampante dominated the track.

Saturday at the Nürburgring Drift Cup is reserved for the training and qualifying sessions before the decisive battles begin on Sunday. Here, the drivers battled for victory in the Coppa Shell and the Trofeo Pirelli. Numerous programs placed the emphasis on driving fun and the pure joy of driving a Ferrari. Bella Italia in the Eifel: Lovers of Italian sports cars come to the Nürburgring from all over the continent at the beginning of September.

The organizers have announced 89 participants from 19 countries for this year's penultimate meeting. And in the paddock, spectators can get very close to the drivers and their machines. Disney Channel Join-in Cinema (September 7 & 8)
Puzzling, clapping, singing and cheering in the comfort of the Nürburgring cinema: on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 & 8, little fans of Mickey Mouse & Co.

will get their money's worth at the ring°kino. Private owners then take to the track in genuine Formula 1 cars from the last 20 to 30 years. The family-friendly screening lasts around an hour. The entire weekend is dedicated to the dream cars from Maranello. The mode is simple and thrilling at the same time: in the battles, two drivers compete directly against each otherTickets for the Nürburgring Drift Cup are available online for 20 euros, young people pay half price.

This means that visitors to the Ring will experience a full field of participants. The program is aimed at the youngest viewers of pre-school age (2 - 7 years). Friday 6 September is dedicated to qualifying sessions, starting with Coppa Shell Am at 9 a.m., followed by Trofeo Pirelli and Trofeo Pirelli Am at 11.30 a.m., and Coppa Shell and Trofeo Pirelli 488 at 12.15 p.m.

The Disney Channel is once again inviting children all over Germany to join in the fun. As the animated host, Mickey Mouse will guide cinema-goers through the colorful program and the Nürburgring mascot Legend will also be on hand for souvenir photos. From 269 euros, fans can experience the event from an exclusive lounge with the best view of the start-finish line, delicious catering and exclusive access to the paddock, which is otherwise only granted to teams, drivers and invited guests.

ADAC 1000 km race (September 21 - 22)
The ADAC 1000 km race at the Nürburgring is a cult event: seven decades of motorsport history in which big names such as Senna, Bellof, Ascari and many more competed.

After the summer break, the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe resumes with its final two rounds before the Finali Mondiali at Imola. These vehicles, which are usually hidden away in private collections, gave fans goosebumps as they raced around the Grand Prix circuit at breathtaking speeds.

Pure competition

As part of the Ferrari Racing Days, the company's oldest one-make championship, the Ferrari Challenge Europe, also returned to the Nürburgring.
